Staying Organized with Your Wedding

Oh the woes of wedding planning. Some find it a joyous experience while others dread certain aspects of planning. While I love every little detail, I do think that every bride should start in the same place - with an organizer. This comes from first hand experience and because what bride doesn't want a new & fun accessory?

When it comes to planning a wedding, no matter the budget, size of the guest list or time allotted, there are a lot of aspects to cover. You have to write down your budget. You have to start collecting images that inspire your dream wedding. You need to start meeting with vendors to see if they are the right fit for your perfect day. Keeping a pretty little organizer can be life changing. Even if you hire a wedding planner, your own personal notebook is a must.

What other ways can you stay organized? New Braunfels Bride can help with that!

1. Keep it all in one place. Whether you keep a binder stuffed full of goodies or do it all online, keep your inspiration, meetings and to-do's in one place. You should be able to access everything you need. One centralized location helps makes the planning process easier and quicker.

2. Make it pretty. I will be honest. There will be times when you think wedding planning is for the birds but a pretty notebook, a sparkly background or a fun pen can be just the ticket to boost your motivation. Spend a few minutes extra or a little more cash on your planning process. I promise it pays off in the end.

3. Go at your pace. Being organized is a must but sometimes a rushed meeting, flower selection or wedding decisions can make you feel overwhelmed and scattered. Take your time. Set your pace. Remember the end result.

4. Never lose sight of the goal. Your marriage to a wonderful man is around the corner. Keep your eye on the prize. Keep your focus on what a sweet and one-of-a-kind love you have with your other half. Stay organized, yes, but keep your love fresh and steady.
